Participation at Posidonia 2024
Strengthening Partnerships & Showcasing Advanced Marine Technologies
MAST Maritime Services proudly participated in Posidonia 2024, one of the world’s most important maritime exhibitions, held at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens. This year’s event provided an exceptional opportunity to meet with global shipping professionals, expand our network, and present our continuously growing range of marine engineering, ship repair, and vessel performance solutions.
Following our strong presence at the previous exhibitions, our 2024 participation highlighted MAST’s commitment to supporting the maritime sector with reliable services, innovative technologies, and strategic partnerships.

Our Principals at Posidonia 2024
We were honored to welcome several of our international Principals, who joined us throughout the exhibition to showcase their expertise and capabilities. Participants included:
- Kuzey Star Shipyard
- CSSC CMES-Tech
- Headway Technology Group
- Marine Shaft
- DCS Power
- Huafeng Zhoushan Shipyard
Their presence enabled us to jointly present a broad portfolio of services, covering shipyard repairs, dry-docking, shaft alignment and machining, ballast water treatment systems, energy-saving technologies, and other advanced marine engineering solutions.

Technical Seminar: Energy-Saving Solutions for Vessel Performance
As part of our Posidonia 2024 activities, MAST Maritime Services hosted a dedicated technical seminar titled “Optimizing Vessel Performance with Energy-Saving Technologies.”
This seminar followed the success of our previous Posidonia 2022 event and attracted strong interest from shipowners, technical managers, and marine engineers.

Key focus areas included:
- Proven energy-saving devices for fuel efficiency
- Upgrades for propulsion and onboard systems
- Real operational case studies
- Technology-driven solutions for EEXI/CII compliance
- Practical strategies for reducing emissions and operating costs
The seminar highlighted actionable steps the industry can take to improve vessel efficiency while meeting tightening environmental regulations.

Moderated by Prof. Simone Mancini (Hydro Consultant, Force Technolgy & Ass. Prof, University of Naples Federico II)
The contributions from our distinguished speakers – Prof. Huang Guofu (General Manager, CMES-Tech), Mr. Theo Kourmpelis (Strategic Business Partner, Lloyd’s Register), and Mr. Stylianos Papageorgiou (Managing Director, Lomar Labs) – provided a comprehensive overview of the current trends and future directions in vessel performance optimization.
The outcomes of the seminar have been precisely laid down in a separate article.
Building Stronger Partnerships with Shipowners & Technical Teams
Throughout the exhibition, our team conducted numerous meetings with clients and partners to discuss:
- Expanding repair and retrofit support in key shipyard hubs
- Enhancing the availability of high-quality marine spare parts
- Introducing innovative technologies to improve vessel efficiency
- Strengthening cooperation with engineering workshops worldwide
The event served as a powerful platform for reinforcing our position in the Greek and international maritime market.
Looking Ahead
We extend our sincere appreciation to all clients, partners, and visitors who engaged with us during Posidonia 2024. Your support continues to drive our mission of delivering high-quality technical, engineering, and performance solutions to the global shipping industry.
MAST Maritime Services looks forward to continuing its active participation in major maritime exhibitions and further strengthening its partnerships worldwide.
