COSCO (Shanghai) Shipyard is one of the core enterprises of COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd., integrated all business of offshore design, offshore modular, ship building, ship repair and conversion.
The company was established in 1970 and has more than 40,000 m2 land area and 360 m berth. Over the years, COSCO (Shanghai) shipyard took full advantage of region, talent, technology and information due to the metropolis of international shipping-Shanghai. With the improvement of service quality, the shipyard has been highly praised by the ship owners especially for the conversion projects, such as oil tankers，LPG carriers, chemical tankers，refrigerated ships, cement self-loading carrier, dredger ships , PCTC, OSV and etc. The customers are from more than 30 countries and regions including Asia, Europe, Africa America and etc. The company has established long-term cooperation relationship with famous shipping companies from Europe, America, Germany, Netherlands, Korea, Japan, Singapore and other countries in the world.
Since 2011, COSCO (Shanghai) shipyard was upgraded by the establishment of QHSE system for offshore design and offshore modular which approved by ABS. The company entered into the offshore equipment design and manufacturing field and won orders including offshore design and offshore modular construction of FPSO and the 6th drilling ship with 3000 meters deep drilling and new DP. By the delivery of he first batch of FPSO offshore modulars, COSCO (Shanghai) shipyard has been highly identified by many famous international oil & gas companies.
