Building on a successful partnership established in 2018, MAST Maritime Services S.A. and Headway Technology Group (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. are entering a new era of Energy Efficiency in Greece.
Through this ongoing cooperation, MAST will showcase Headway’s innovative solutions, including Carbon Capture and Storage Systems (CCS), Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (EGCS), and Fuel Gas Supply Systems for alternative marine fuels, helping shipowners meet International Maritime Organization (IMO) EEXI and CII regulations while driving sustainable maritime operations.

So far, MAST Maritime has been leading in the Headway OceanGuard® BWMS installations on Greek interest vessels. As a result, the system has established a reputation in the Greek Market which is also well supported by Headway’s after-sales department. Consequently, the company was chosen to represent the remaining and upcoming solutions for the decarbonization of the shipping industry.

Recently, the Carbon Capture and Storage System (CCS) independently developed by Headway Technology, received Approval in Principle (AIP) certificate. Officially issued by the DNV Classification Society, this made Headway one of the few companies in this field in the world with this recognition. Combined with ship operating conditions and offshore working environment, they developed a CCS system using hypergravity technology. It has a small size, low power consumption, low cost, convenient operation, and many more advantages.
