In May 2022, MAST Maritime Services S.A. became the exclusive agent of Headway Technology Group (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. in Greece. Therefore, MAST will represent the innovative developments of Headway Technology and above all the Carbon Capture and Storage System (CCS), the Exhaust Gas Cleaning System (EGCS) while also the Fuel Gas Supply System for new marine fuels. Hence, leading the way toward a sustainable future and meeting the new EEXI & CII measures from the International Maritime Organization.

So far, MAST Maritime has been leading in the Headway OceanGuard® BWMS installations on Greek interest vessels. As a result, the system has established a reputation in the Greek Market which is also well supported by Headway’s after-sales department. Consequently, the company was chosen to represent the remaining and upcoming solutions for the decarbonization of the shipping industry.

Recently, the Carbon Capture and Storage System (CCS) independently developed by Headway Technology, received Approval in Principle (AIP) certificate. Officially issued by the DNV Classification Society, this made Headway one of the few companies in this field in the world with this recognition. Combined with ship operating conditions and offshore working environment, they developed a CCS system using hypergravity technology. It has a small size, low power consumption, low cost, convenient operation, and many more advantages.
