Along the whole shaft line and rudder line: alignment, run-out measurement, 3D scanning and on-site machining.
Every shaft is measured and crack-tested before and after straightening.
When you think it cannot be repaired, think again.
MarineShaft’s cold straightening technique, developed over 50 years ago, repairs even severely bent propeller shafts, intermediate shafts and rudder stocks, often to a better straightness than a new shaft. It is approved as a permanent repair, equivalent to a new part.
